Canadian composer and pianist Matt Choboter creates contemporary music shaped by non-Western traditions and eclectic spirituality. His work explores liminal psychology, dream states, and panpsychist ecology, blending Just Intonation with elements of South Indian classical and Balinese gamelan. Nominated for Composer of the Year (2025 Danish Jazz Music Awards), he releases music on Kairos, ILK Music, and Songlines Recordings.
