Every year, several hundred skilled, enthusiastic and hard-working volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring that SPOT can be run professionally and painlessly. As a volunteer, you help to create and spread the good atmosphere throughout the festival, as you are part of SPOT’s external face in contact with the guests, the musicians, the suppliers and the other volunteers.
When you volunteer, the starting point is that you work one day (the number of hours to be worked depends on the shift), and then you have the rest of the festival free to listen to music and enjoy the good atmosphere. As a volunteer, you become part of a collective of committed and indispensable workers who manage to make things easier – and who help to put a spotlight on Danish and Nordic music both at home and abroad. In addition, you get a full SPOT ticket, as well as catering during your shift. You can read more about the different work areas for this year’s festival on this page, so you can see which one might suit you.
Many of our volunteers return year after year, and we’re always happy to welcome both familiar faces and new people to the SPOT Crew
