Each year, several hundred skilled, enthusiastic and hard-working volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring that SPOT can be run professionally and painless. These are also known as the SPOT Crew. As a SPOT volunteer, you help to create a good atmosphere and and spread the festive vibe throughout the festival, as you are part of representing SPOT when you’re in contact with the guests, the musicians, the suppliers and the other volunteers.
As a part of the SPOT Crew, the starting point is that you work one day (the number of hours to be worked depends on the shift), and then you have the rest of the festival off to listen to music and enjoy the great atmosphere. As a volunteer, you become part of a collective of committed and indispensable workers who manage to make things easier – and whom help to put a spotlight on Danish and Nordic music both at home and abroad. In addition, you get a full SPOT ticket, as well as food and beverages during your shift. You can read more about the different work areas for this year’s festival below on this page, so you can see which one might suit you.
Many of our volunteers return year after year, and we’re always happy to welcome both familiar faces and new people to the SPOT Crew.
If you have any questions you’re always more than welcome to contact our coordinators at frivillig@spotfestival.dk
