SPOT Festival is primarily an indoor festival and uses Aarhus’s many venues and culture houses for the concerts. Ranging from 50 to 3,000, the audience capacity of the individual venue varies a lot, and for that reason SPOT cannot guarantee all ticket holders access to all concerts. Show up in good time before the concert/talk/etc.. It makes your chance of getting in a lot better. It is not possible to pre-book for the concerts.

In case of serious accidents: Call 112.

During the entire festival, the Emergency Services Association’s employees will be ready to help the festival’s guests, musicians and others.

If you yourself are injured or see others who need help, contact the nearest bar, one of the festival’s many volunteers or the staff on the festival’s stages. They help you to contact the Emergency Management Association’s employees.

It is not possible to pay with cash at SPOT’s areas during the festival. However, you can easily pay with cash at the venues that provide rooms and stages for SPOT.

At the festival site it is possible to pay with following cards and payment options: Dankort, VISA, Mastercard, Union Pay, Diners, Discover, American Express and MobilePay

SPOT and the collaborating venues do not serve alcohol to persons under the age of 18. This applies to everyone without exception: the audience, musicians, delegates and volunteers. If you have consumed more than you can handle, seek out the festival’s security people. Help will be available here.

We do not tolerate the consumption of drugs, nor do we accept the sale of drugs on the festival grounds. If you are caught either consuming or selling drugs, we will cut off your festival bracelet and you will then be escorted away from the site. 

Stage diving, crowd surfing, moshing and the like are activities that many people do not want to be a part of involuntarily. It’s dangerous and people can get hurt. Therefore, it is prohibited on all stages. If the guards discover that festival guests are doing this anyway, the person’s wristband will be cut and they will immediately be shown out of the festival site.

If you have lost clothes, mobile phone, wallet or something else, contact the festival’s accreditation on the balcony in the Aarhus Congress Center. Lost property will be stored here during the festival. After the festival, unclaimed lost property is stored at the festival’s secretariat at Vester Allé 15 – and after a few weeks everything of value is handed over to the police. The rest is taken to the landfill.

• Items found at Park Stage, Circle Stage, the EXPO area, and ACC have been handed in to us at SPOT and can be picked up at Vester Allé 15 starting Tuesday.

•  Contents from Volt lockers will also be delivered to Vester Allé and can be collected from Tuesday.

•  Items that may have been lost at venues, at Institut for X, Volume Village, or at Musikhuset will be handed in at those locations, so you can contact them directly.

*The opening hours of the SPOT office are 10:00–15:00, and you are welcome to email us at info@spotfestival.dk in advance if you’d like us to check whether your belongings are here with us.

Yes! In collaboration with Volt, lockers are available at the festival where you can securely store your belongings in a personal locker with an access code, for either a single day or both days.

Each locker measures 30 × 30 × 50 cm and easily fits a jacket, a bag, or other personal items. You can access your locker as often as you like during your booking period at no extra cost.

The lockers are available in limited numbers, so we recommend booking in advance via Volt’s website here where you can find booking, details, and FAQs.

Yes! In collaboration with Volt, Selfservice Charging is available at the festival, allowing you to charge your phone on the go using a portable powerbank system.

With Selfservice Charging, you simply rent a powerbank whenever you need power, use it for as long as you like, and return it when you’re done. Pricing is based on a fixed rate per half hour, with a maximum daily price.

In the approval email we send you when we accept your purchase of a SPOT+ ticket you will find your personal link to the delegates database. No need to remember yet another set of username and password – just bookmark the link.

We open the accreditation system December 1st, 2026. Deadline for applications is April 23rd, 2027

As a general rule, you work one day at the festival and have the other day off. On average, shifts last 6–8 hours, though this can vary depending on your role.

In exchange for your time, you’ll get access to both festival days, meals during your shift, access to the cozy volunteer area (Crew Lounge) where you can relax and enjoy a toast before and after your shift – and most importantly, you’ll get the opportunity to meet other great people.

You’ll receive your wristband at the volunteer check-in (Crew Lounge), which is located on the balcony of Aarhus Congress Center (at the bottom of the arcade). Feel free to drop by before or after your shift. The Crew Lounge is a dedicated area for SPOT Crew, where you can redeem drink tickets and make your own fresh toast (also in a vegan or vegetarian option, if wanted)!

Whether your shift is indoors or outdoors, dress appropriately for the weather. Bring a water bottle if you have one, and don’t forget comfortable shoes! You’ll be provided with food and water during your shift.

You can store your bag/backpack in the Crew Lounge at your own risk. However, we recommend taking it with you during your shift (especially for evening shifts), as the area closes at 10:00 PM.

It’s essential to note that while on shift, you are not allowed to:

• Be intoxicated or consume alcohol.
• Be under the influence of or use illegal substances.

As always we have collaborated with H2O to create some amazing crew t-shirts for you – but this year they are only for you to borrow during the shift. Normally the t-shirts have been produced of excess fabric from the H2O production but because they have improved the production regarding waste there’s not enough fabric for the crew t-shirts to be made of the leftover material.

So not to create unnecessary production waste we have decided to make the t-shirts in a stronger material and then have them for three years – this means you have to give back your t-shirt after your shift and by that you’re a part of a circular apparel approach. We hope you’ll support the idea when you’re a part of the SPOT crew 2027!

Practical information – t-shirts should be delivered back either at the place where you have your shift or at the volunteer lounge.
