Amalie Holt Kleive is an artist, songwriter, and producer with an expression that lives in contrasts. She combines electronica, jazz, and singer-songwriter pop in music that is both vulnerable and danceable, serious and playful. In February, she released the album ‘Vi er de evige’ - an album that takes the singer’s expression even further. It is a powerful and thoughtfully crafted musical experience that invites the listener into a universe shaped by extremes, uniting reflection with energy and movement.
‘Vi er de evige’ reflects fragments of Amalie’s life over the past four years - a period marked by traveling around the world, meeting countless people, and a fast pace that at times has challenged her innate sense of calm. These experiences have made her more aware of what feels eternal in life: those who never disappear, and what always remains.
Thematically, ‘Vi er de evige’ revolves around the passage of time, alienation, and estrangement, but also reconciliation, love, and care. The album was written and produced in collaboration with Vetle Junker, Peder Kolsung, Fredrik Svabø, and Njål Paulsberg.
