Danish-Japanese Terkel Atsushi Røjle, a.k.a. Atusji, is currently releasing the album ‘Slowboat to Asakusa’, his first Danish-language release.
‘Slowboat to Asakusa’ follows the album trilogy Soapbox Vol. 1, 2, and 3, with the final album featuring guest appearances from artists like Helena Gao and Brimheim.
Atusji has received positive reviews in Politiken and Soundvenue, composed music for the Netflix series Terrace House, and performed at Roskilde Festival’s Rising stage as well as Vegas Udvalgte. This is Atusji’s second time playing at SPOT, and with the new album, he expands his musical expression by singing in Danish.
