efteraar plays Danish indie pop and has since their inception in 2022 been balancing between the power of catchy pop melodies and an experimenting indie universe, always with attempts to seduce, challenge and create space for reflection.
efteraar revolves around the mandatory worries and frustrations that take up space when you find yourself in the emptiness of your late-twenties between youth and adulthood.
According to the bands lead singer, Bernhard Babanto, the group wishes to put this inevitable phase in life into words: “When you are in your mid-twenties, in many ways you are in the middle of one of the many autumns of life. Expectations are turned up, and at the same time as people are going their separate ways, everything is changing and I think many can feel a little like they are fading”.
