Martin Zeppelin, formerly known as a member of the band Astronaut, has now established himself as a solo artist with a unique voice and a strong songwriting profile. With a background in songwriting from the music conservatory, where he was mentored by Peter Sommer, he has crafted a lyrical universe that is poetic, moving, and laced with humor. His music explores life’s big existential questions, close relationships, and the ambivalent contrasts between light and shadow.
Zeppelin’s debut album, Tropenat, brought him onto stages across the country, including supporting Folkeklubben and performing at Smukfest in 2022. His follow-up album, Skyggeblomst, cemented his status as an artist with something to say and earned five stars from GAFFA, which called it a potential “Danish-language surprise of the year.”
Now, he is ready to take another step forward with his upcoming album, Stjernesejler, where he continues his journey through musical landscapes blending melancholy, life insight, and his distinctive sense of humor. The first single from the album will be released in May, offering a taste of the universe Zeppelin creates with his characteristic vocals and profound lyrics.
At SPOT, audiences will get the chance to experience Martin Zeppelin’s presence, authenticity, and ability to captivate listeners with the stories he tells through his music. SPOT marks the beginning of a new musical era for Zeppelin.
