P6 Følger shines a light on some of the new artists emerging from the Danish musical underground, and this spring P6 has been following CEVIL.
CEVIL makes anti-formulaic, alternative pop music, where catchy melodies are combined with infectious guitar riffs and industrial, electronic soundscapes. CEVIL is Cecilie Vahle Nielsen, who has been writing songs and playing music since childhood. In CEVIL’s music you hear a desire to push boundaries, both in the music and the lyrics. The debut as CEVIL came in 2023 with the single ‘Don’t Speak’, and since then she has released the debut EP ‘FREAK’ and several singles.
