Rosa grew up in a home where music was always present. Her lyrics are distinctive, and her worldview, humor, and immediacy are clearly felt and easy to connect with. Her voice is powerful and stands out both in its flow and range. Her first Danish-language single, ‘Skyklapper’, received widespread media attention and enthusiasm even before its release, leading to several playlist placements, radio rotation, TV appearances, and a top-10 position on the Danish airplay chart. Most recently, she followed up with the single “Fuck om de kan li os,” centered around “self-love and embracing ourselves and others exactly as we are.”
At 17, Rosa stepped into the music industry with contracts, releases, and expectations. She was taken by the hand, swept off her feet, and thrown into plans and dreams. Through that process, she became clearer about who she is and what she wants.
Over the past two years, Rosa has focused on writing new music in Danish and building new collaborations. She writes about the world she lives in, with emotions, observations, and linguistic quirks that only she can express. Even when she circles around heavy or vulnerable themes, she does so with ease and strength.
Now, at 24, she stands with a sound that is entirely her own. Together with producer Marius Iversen, who has worked with artists such as Artigeardit, Annika, and Josva, she has created a colorful musical universe that brings together the energy of hip-hop, the warmth of soul, and the immediacy of pop songwriting.
