Håbløs consists of Magnus and Kristian, who write, produce and play everything themselves, including Mario Kart. They operate by a simple principle: the most personal grows out of the most ordinary. Starting from small, recognisable situations in everyday life, they dissect the kinds of emotions usually reserved for late-night conversations with close friends, drawing the listener into a kind of intimacy they didn’t quite see coming.
Their sound moves from synth-drenched bangers to vulnerable ballads; a colourful package containing pop-music with nerve and warmth. And yes, the lyrics are in Danish and we won’t be able to translate them live, yet. Live, the duo expands with three additional musicians, creating a playful, sensitive and uncompromising show.
