Standart is a danish rock band mixing hyperactive drums, rave- ready synths and punk energy with lyrics that insist on hope in the middle of chaos. Music that can knock you flat and pick you back up in the same moment. It only really makes sense when it’s played loud and with other people. They don’t play nice, and they don’t stand still. They walk on stage to tear the room apart, not decorate it. The sound is loud, dirty, and melodic all at once. Standart works best with a crowd. They want to be the band that gives young people the courage to be wild, honest, and themselves — for five minutes or the entire night. The audience becomes the choir, the dancers, and the oil that keeps the whole machine moving. When Standart hits the stage, it’s less about watching and more about joining in — and the line between the band and the crowd disappears.

Standart er et dansksproget rockband, der blander hyperaktive trommer, rave-synths og punkenergi med tekster, der insisterer på håb midt i kaos. Musik, der kan smadre dig, men samle dig op igen med det samme. Det giver først rigtig mening, når det bliver spillet højt og sammen med andre. De spiller ikke pænt, og de står ikke stille. De går på scenen for at vælte rummet, ikke for at pynte det. Lyden er høj, beskidt og melodisk på samme tid. Standart fungerer bedst med publikum. De vil være bandet, der giver unge mennesker mod til at være vanvittige, ærlige og sig selv bare i fem minutter eller hele natten. Publikum bliver koret, danserne og olien i hele maskineriet. Når Standart går på scenen, handler det mindre om at kigge og mere om at være med, og grænsen mellem scene og publikum forsvinder.
