With quirky and poetic songs, Schæfer invites you into a world of socially relevant stories that are both dark and melancholic, as well as bright and sly. The duo and close friends, Anna Skov Jensen (vocals) and Emil Mors Rasmussen (keyboards), write vulnerable, intense, and humorous songs that point fingers at the world around them and, not least, at themselves. Schæfer has already gained recognition for their sharp songwriting, having earned the title of ‘Årets Nordjyske Sangskriver 2024’ (Nordjyske Songwriter of the Year) in the Skråen music competition, Band Battle.
