Sander Sanchez has roots in both Jutland and South Dakota (USA), with the latter contributing to his Native American heritage, which has had a significant influence on his musical expression.
As a Native American powwow dancer, Sander approaches music and dance from a more spiritual perspective, where heart and soul are essential ingredients.
A self-proclaimed color addict, Sander's aesthetic is highly light-bending, holographic, and expressive. Genre-wise, he is playful and effortlessly moves between dynamic pop, ’80s, soul, R&B, hip-hop blues, ambient, and EDM, blending them into an explosive and cohesive sound. He is also inspired by the emerging electronic subgenre Vapor Twitch.
Sander has performed on numerous Danish stages and at major events, including World Pride 2021 at KB-Hallen, Copenhagen Pride, supporting American drag star Adore Delano at DR’s Concert Hall, and Royal Arena for Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2020, where he secured second place with the song ‘SCREENS’. He also performed at the Danish Rainbow Awards 2022 at Cirkusbygningen, where he was nominated for Artist of the Year.
