Dos Santos is Christian Lima Dos Santos Ringsing. There is joy, but also a lived-through melancholy in his music. It is a tale of a little dancing boy on the kitchen floor in a Copenhagen childhood home, weaving his life together with the rhythms of his mother's homeland, Brazil. The 22-year-old talent embraces the philosophy of samba – the colors and the celebration – and brings it into a personal narrative of loss and longing. His debut EP 'SAMBA' (2023) is primarily the sound of freedom and the words of a young man with an open outlook on life – about daring to let go of what you have, to hold on to the important things in life; oneself, joy and dance.
The EP was recorded in close collaboration with the two producers, Nicolai Gabold (Julias Moon, Elisha, among others) and Niels Christian Sommer (Ganger, among others), creating a rhythmically grounded expression where R&B-inspired catchy melodies blend with electronic beats and cinematic soundscapes.
