Grammy-winning Bavé is exactly what the Swedish music scene needs right now. With the ability to blend psychedelic R&B with melancholic indie, this multifaceted artist has created a completely unique sound – praised by international tastemakers such as The Independent, Clash and Earmilk.
The debut EP, ‘In Vermouth’, was released in the fall of 2021, inviting listeners to dive deep into Bavé's magical universe. Falsetto vocals are mixed with pulsating R&B rhythms, soft melodies, and stylish guitar riffs, resulting in an absolutely fantastic debut.
Shortly after a celebrated performance at Way Out West in Gothenburg in 2022, the follow-up EP ‘All Stars Aligned’ was released. It was quickly picked up by The Independent and led to a sold-out headline gig at Debaser Strand in Stockholm. ‘All Stars Aligned’ later won both a Swedish Grammy and the Manifest Gala award for "Årets Soul/RNB" (Soul/R&B of the Year).
