Demersal is a hardcore band that writes songs about care and restlessness as a reaction to a world in decay. Their music incorporates elements of hardcore, screamo, mathcore, and post-rock, resulting in both chaotic meltdowns and calm, transcendent passages, topped by four vocals that appear both powerful and fragile at the same time. The band has toured Europe multiple times and played at Danish festivals such as Uhørt, A Colossal Weekend, Ilter Festival, Copenhagen Metal Fest, and SPOT. They have also gained recognition from major international media outlets like Stereogum and BrooklynVegan.
