On March 8, 2025, the artist MAD MAGPIE released her second album, ‘An Escape Attempt From The New World’. The album, an experimental blend of synth-rock, post-punk, and synth-pop, takes listeners on an escapist journey through a woman's confusing attempt to flee from her own emotions.
MAD MAGPIE draws inspiration from artists such as PULP, Kent, Radiohead, and Depeche Mode. The album feels especially relevant in a world that has changed drastically over the past few months and serves as a continuation of her conceptual debut album, ‘An Eyewitness Account From The New World’, released in March 2020.
