Ashes of Billy was formed in early 2022 and the trioenhas since then been very productive with the release of three EPs. Their style is a mix of alternative rock, post-grunge, and heavy metal. Despite being born in 2007, 2008, and 2009, the band members have already played numerous concerts, including opening for Psyched Up Janis and Siamese, performing at ‘When Copenhell Freezes Over 2024’, and playing various shows across Denmark.
Their latest EP, ‘Obscene’, was released in March 2024. The EP was produced by Tue Madsen (known for his work with Baby Metal, HateSphere, Behemoth, and Meshuggah) and recorded at Antfarm Studio. Two singles from the EP gained airplay on the Danish rock radio station MyRock. Additionally, the band had their first two EPs mastered by Flemming Rasmussen (Metallica) at Sweet Silence Studios.
