Company: Pink Ivy Management
Title: Manager / booker

Can you tell us a bit about the company’s history and its roster?
Pink Ivy Management was founded in 2019 and is run by Ivy Ofori who also was a Keychange innovator during 2022. Pink Ivy Management focuses on female and non-binary artists in management and the company started out with Swedish artists like Arre! Arre!, Loljud, Ninoosh and Feivel. Over the years there were even collaborations with Sallyswag and Aurelia Dey and artists Mi von Ahn and Miranda Magdalena are a the newer members of the roster.
And can you tell us a bit about the acts you personally work with at this moment?
At the moment I work with the artists Loljud, Mi von Ahn and Miranda Magdalena in management. LOLJUD (Malmö) Loljud, who has been compared to artists such as The Knife, Björk and Sia, is recognized for his cross-artistic and unpredictable approach to electronic music. Like a collector of sounds, she sifts the world with a sieve. Water drops, radio noise and mobile alarms get stuck in the net. Noise, which can literally be gleaned from her stage name, is not just surprises glimmering in the production, but conceptual building blocks that move the story forward. Lotta Fahlén (1990) is an artist and producer living in Malmö. MIRANDA MAGDALENA Magdalena (Malmö): Miranda will release her debut album this spring and has supported artists such as I’m Kingfisher and Sara Parkman. She is a Swedish alternative pop artist and songwriter. Her voice and presence have an angelic darkness that leaves few untouched. Miranda’s sound is mysterious and intimate at the same time grand and cinematic. Her timeless folkloric melodies mixed with both classical instruments and tweaked electronic sounds created a world to get lost in. MI VON AHN (Umeå): The artist Mi von Ahn creates evocative and ambient pop with a barren and beautiful melancholy that touches the depths. Clash Magazine describes the music as “Driving, inspiring, and moving…” and draws parallels to The War On Drugs. The Västerbottenskuriren writes “… hints of Fleetwood Mac and maybe even Amanda Bergman, but above all Mi von Ahn is very much herself”. Apart from the management I do even start up a Showcase Festival in Malmö right now.
What was the moment you decided you wanted to work with music?
I think this was when I was on a concert in 2010 when I realized that I need to work with something I actually value for itself and not the payment.
Which acts are you looking forward to seeing this year at SPOT?
TENDER YOUTH I was their band coach at Popkorn Nordic in 2022 and I really want to see how they developed since then. LUCKY LO: I only saw the end of her gig at Reeperbahn Festival so I’m looking forward to see the whole gig this time. Other than this I try to not look up to much information about the artists because I like seeing them live first.
Best show you’ve ever seen hands down?
Stevie Wonder, Roskilde 2014
