Tender Youth is a young Copenhagen-based art-rock quartet that moves between the raw and the vulnerable. Rooted in post-punk and with a clear focus on new expressions, placing the violin at the centre, the band creates intense, immersive songs where energy and fragility goes hand in hand.
Following an EP in 2021 and the critically acclaimed debut album ‘In The Hands Of Broken Bonds’ (2023), Tender Youth have performed at festivals such as Roskilde Festival and completed a European tour with shows across several countries. This experience has shaped the otherwise young band into a focused and uncompromising live act, drawing audiences into the intensity of the moment.
In 2026, Tender Youth will release their second album. The band has abandoned the guitar entirely, allowing the violin to take on a leading role. Punk urgency meets the emotional depth of folk music in a sound that blends hand-played instrumentation, distortion, and a more modern, pop-leaning production. The result is a bold artistic step and a band in clear and ongoing evolution.
