Music has always been a natural part of Sebi Viola’s life – like a language that has followed him since childhood. With roots in jazz, soul, funk, and hip hop, he creates a sound grounded in alternative R&B - although he has stated that he doesn’t like to put a genre label on his music. Inspired by artists such as D’Angelo, Jimi Hendrix, and Erykah Badu, his music explores love, doubt, and the feelings that are hard to put into words – honest, vulnerable, and raw. Live, Sebi Viola and his talented band combine organic grooves and improvisation in an intimate space that draws the audience close.
