Gradience has, in a short time, established themselves as one of the most defining new bands on the Danish metal scene, and their debut EP ‘IRONSIGHT’ in May 2024 also delivered impressive results: a record deal with one of the world’s biggest metal labels, Metal Blade Records, coverage in Metal Hammer (the world’s largest metal magazine), nominations for “EP of the Year” and “Breakthrough Artist of the Year” at the Den Hårde Tone Awards 2024, and a massive positive online response that has accumulated more than 300,000 streams.
Their debut single ‘The Abyss’ was praised by Metal Hammer, and the band has performed at several industry festivals: UHØRT Festival ’24 and When Copenhell Freezes Over 2025 at VEGA. Gradience demonstrates that powerful musical forces are at play when they unleash their fusion of trap rap, black metal, metalcore, and deathcore.
