GiddyGang & Vuyo is not just a band - it's a collective heartbeat pulsating with hip-hop, soul, and jazz vibes, creating music from a place of joy and social consciousness. The group was formed in 2019 after meeting at the music college NLA Staffeldtsgate in Oslo.
The sound is shaped by the members' diverse musical backgrounds, and the lyrics are inspired by personal experiences and the current status quo in society. On their sonic journey, they have received praise from a number of notable artists, including Robert Glasper, Mac Ayres, and Jazzy Jeff, just to name a few. After refining their craft through studio work and performances, GiddyGang & Vuyo are shifting gears, ready to bring a more artistic approach to their live performances. And 2024 is a good year to be a part of the journey. With role models like The Roots, D’Angelo, Little Simz, and Kendrick Lamar - and a musical expertise down to the fingertips, it's impossible to remain indifferent after a live experience with Giddy on stage. The group released two new singles on April 26th.
