Diket is a Norwegian–Swedish folk-indie group featuring members from acclaimed Oslo-based projects such as Benedikt, Ævestaden, and Hey Gloria. Rooted in Nordic folk traditions and modern indie, they create a sound where acoustic instruments meet rhythmic grooves, poetic lyrics, and delicate experimental textures.
Their debut EP ‘Och sen kom vintern’ (2024) received strong reviews and was nominated for a Swedish Grammis Award for Folk Music of the Year. Live, the band moves between quiet, intimate moments and more rhythm-driven passages, where the warmth of folk music meets the depth of indie.
Diket have already appeared at festivals such as by:Larm, Folkelarm, and Trondheim Calling, and have shared stages with artists including Valkyrien Allstars and Lankum. The band is currently working on their debut full-length album, set for release in 2026.
