BUKURU is a young artist from Northern Jutland, raised in a small town about an hour outside of Aalborg, in a home where music was always a big part of life. The past year has brought major changes for him. In 2024, he signed with Capitol Records, and after finishing high school, he took the big step of moving to Copenhagen to go all in on his music career.
Preparation and growth have shaped BUKURU into a strong artist at an early age. Even before releasing any music, he caught the attention of influential media outlets like Soundvenue. His debut single ‘Tandlæge’ speaks for itself. It brings a rare sound to the Danish music scene, offering tender, Frank Ocean-inspired neo-soul with melodic electric guitar, deep reverb, and a vocal performance that’s both intimate and powerful.
