Magne Lundgaard had a lot on his mind. At one point, so much that he had no choice but to share it. Through his project Mawne, he does so in a raw and youthfully poetic way. Lyrics born from different emotional states are laid bare across everything from dreamy, heavy, and electronic productions to soulful, warm, and acoustic instrumentals.
The music is entirely self-produced, stripping away any barriers between artist and listener. Mawne is genre-fluid and contemporary - what matters most is that the productions, lyrics, and melodies come together to convey a feeling as real and authentic as possible.
