In just a few years, BAEST has positioned itself as one of Europe’s most exciting metal bands. Based in Aarhus and with an unchanged original lineup, the quintet has released four powerful albums: ‘Danse Macabre’ (2018), ‘Venenum’ (2019), ‘Necro Sapiens’ (2021), and the latest, ‘Colossal’ (2025), which fuses death metal with heavy rock and ’80s-style riffing. The album was produced by Tue Madsen and has received massive international acclaim. The German magazine Metal Hammer called it “a colossal achievement,” while Deaf Forever described it as “a career high point.”
BAEST has performed more than 350 shows at home and abroad and toured with bands such as Arch Enemy, Fit For An Autopsy, Krisiun, Abbath, and Entombed AD. They have played festivals including Copenhell, Wacken, Bloodstock, and Kaltenbach, and their energetic live performances have secured them a growing international fanbase.
In 2024, the band was named “Artist of the Year” at Den Hårde Tone and has won five GAFFA Awards. With songs like ‘Imp Of The Perverse’, ‘Misfortunate Son’ (feat. ORM), and ‘King of the Sun’ (feat. Jesper Binzer), BAEST bridges the gap between metal’s extreme edge and catchy, melodic hooks. A band in constant evolution - with a global outlook.
