Ahmed Omar – Presenter at Volume Village
Ahmed Omar is known as the host of popular podcasts such as Gråzonen, Lyden AGF, and TV2 Østjylland’s show Line Up. His extensive experience with live shows at major festivals like Roskilde Festival, Grim Festival, NorthSide, and previous SPOT Festivals has given him a deep understanding of the energy that live performances demand.
Ahmed is a charismatic and energetic host who, with his infectious enthusiasm and professional approach, strives to elevate every event to new heights.
Freja Scheufens Bøgedal – Presenter at VoxHall
“Can I dance to it?” That’s what Freja Scheufens Bøgedal asks herself when she hears a new song. Freja has pursued her passion for upcoming music through the concert concept Frekvens in Herning, in the UMTO association, at Gemini Festival and with Volume Village. As a host, she lives for the roar of the crowd cheering on new artists.
Freja studies dramaturgy at Aarhus University, which fuels her daily enthusiasm for all forms of performing arts, and she looks forward to experiencing the new creative performances that SPOT Festival always guarantees.
Jesper Nyborg – Presenter in Store Sal, Musikhuset
Jesper Nyborg is a music journalist and radio host of the music show Nyborg Station on DR.
You can also find him at Fikumdik in Aarhus, where he creates a unique radio show once a month.
In addition to SPOT, he works with festivals like NorthSide, Tønder, Stories, and Nashville Nights.
Jonas Rendboe – Presenter at Radar (Saturday)
Jonas has been dubbed the Godfather of Scandinavian Soul by international media. In 2016, he won Artist of the Year and Best Video at the Scandinavian Soul Music Awards in Stockholm.
With over 20 years in the soul music scene, Jonas has released an extensive catalog of music and toured the world. Beyond his own career as an artist, he is deeply involved in the industry – he teaches young talent in music production, works as a touring musician, is a tour manager, runs his own independent record label, and operates a studio in Copenhagen.
Katrine Haugaard – Presenter at Radar (Friday)
Katrine Haugaard is a trained journalist and has worked for years with music and audience development. For Katrine, live music is like food: it keeps us alive, there are always new flavors to explore – and it pairs damn well with a cold draft beer.
Mark Schedler – Presenter at Parkscenen
Singer, actor, and SPOT host for the 17th time. Mark has worked in the entertainment industry since 1999 and has done TV, film, musicals, radio, and commercials.
He is the singer and guitarist in his own Rock’n’Roll band Memphis Boulevard and sings in the show orchestra The Tarantino Twist Show. Once again, he’ll be found at Parkscenen this year. You’ll recognize him by his hat, and he’s always ready to answer questions about the bands he’s presenting.
Nicolai Lydiksen – Presenter at Alléscenen
Nicolai Lydiksen is a charismatic and versatile radio and podcast host, known for his sharp humor, quirky angles, and ability to engage his audience. With a background as a comedian, he brings a unique and positive energy to both the airwaves and the stage, creating an energetic and entertaining atmosphere. As a host of various events, he combines professionalism with a natural ability to read the room, making him a crowd favorite – whether live, on the radio, or in podcast format.
Nikkie and Laila – Presenters at Pink Stage and Green Stage, ACC
Nikkie and Laila are known for their lively personalities and high energy, and they share a great passion for music.
Piet Breinholm – Presenter in Rytmisk Sal
Piet Breinholm is a drummer who has played with acts such as 18th Dye, Nikolaj Nørlund/Rhonda Harris, and Sune Rose Wagner (solo). Piet is the former director of the venue Alice and a former board member of Dansk Live. He holds a diploma in Music Management and an Executive MBA from Middlesex University in London, and he currently works as Entertainment Leader at DFDS.
Tove Chepkorir Gøj – Presenter in Lille Sal
Tove Chepkorir Gøj is thrilled to return as host at SPOT Festival 2025 – this time in Musikhuset’s Lille Sal!
Born and raised in Kenya, shaped by 9 years in Aarhus’ vibrant music scene as a DJ and energetic MC – it’s always an honor to present the amazing artists creating magic on stage, now for the second year in a row. Get ready to be immersed in the unforgettable moments that SPOT 2025 will bring us. Tove can’t wait to share them with you.

Ahmed Omar – Konferencier hos Volume Village
Ahmed Omar er kendt som vært for populære podcasts som Gråzonen, Lyden AGF og TV2 Østjyllands program ‘Line Up’. Freja Scheufens Bøgedal – Konferencier på VoxHall
Ka’ jeg danse til det? Sådan tænker Freja Scheufens Bøgedal, når hun hører en ny sang. Freja har arbejdet med sin passion for upcoming musik på koncert-konceptet Frekvens i Herning, i UMTO-foreningen, på Gemini Festival og hos Volume Village, og som konferencier lever hun for publikums jubelbrøl, der runger af støtte til de nye artister. Freja studerer dramaturgi på Aarhus Universitet, der dagligt fodrer hendes entusiasme for al slags scenekunst, og hun glæder sig til at opleve de nye kreative performances, der altid er garanti for på SPOT Festival.

Jesper Nyborg er musikjournalist og radiovært på musikprogrammet Nyborg Station på DR. Du kan også møde ham på Fikumdik i Aarhus, hvor han laver et helt særligt radioprogram en gang om måneden. Arbejder foruden SPOT på festivaler som NorthSide, Tønder, Stories og Nashville Nights.

Med over 20 år på soulmusikscenen har Jonas udgivet et stort katalog af musik og turneret over hele verden. Ud over sin egen karriere som kunstner, er han dybt engageret i branchen – han underviser unge talenter i musikproduktion, arbejder som turnérende musiker, er tour manager, driver sit eget uafhængige pladeselskab og har et studie i København.
Katrine Haugaard – Konferencier på Radar (Fredag)
Katrine Haugaard er uddannet journalist og har i flere år arbejdet med musik og publikumsudvikling. For Katrine er livemusik ligesom mad: Det får os til at leve, der er altid nye retter at dykke ned i – og så går det hamrende godt til en kold fadøl.

Sanger, skuespiller og SPOT konferencier for 17 gang. Mark har arbejdet i underholdningsbranchen siden 1999 og har lavet tv, film, musical, radio og reklamer. Han er sanger og guitarist i eget Rock’n Roll band “Memphis Boulevard” og sanger i show orkestret “The Tarantino Twist Show” Igen i år er han at finde på Park scenen. Du kan kende ham på hatten, og han er klar til at svare på spørgsmål, om de bands han skal præsentere.

Som vært på diverse arrangementer kombinerer han professionalisme med en naturlig evne til at læse rummet, hvilket gør ham til en publikumsfavorit, uanset om det er live, i radioen eller i podcastformat.

Nikkie og Laila er kendt for deres livlige personligheder og højt energi, og har stor interesse for musik.
