At this year’s Spot+, a sharp program has been put together for Friday afternoon, where competent individuals from both home and abroad will guide us through the insane developments in artificial intelligence over the past year and set the direction for what we can expect in the next 3-5 years. Chris Cooke kicks off the three-hour Let’s Talk Music & AI with a fast-paced overview of what has happened in the field since last year’s Spot+, when generative AI was still brand new to most. He does this with the keynote “AI and music one year later: What happened? And where are we at?” Following this, Ed Newton-Rex from Silicon Valley will share his insights via video in the presentation “What I’ve learned from developing generative Music AI for 13 years,” discussing what we can expect in the near future. He is one of the closest things to a pioneer in the development of generative AI music services. From expert knowledge sharing to the panel debate “You AIn’t seen nothing yet?“, which assesses the AI hype that has reached its peak and discusses whether we can start to look more critically at what AI will mean for songwriters and the music industry. In the third and final part of Let’s Talk AI & Music, we’ll get to the core of it all – music itself. DJ Noize has delved into generative AI like no other and the possibilities it brings to music production. Watch and listen as he gives a hands-on demonstration of the latest AI music tools. Before DJ Noize takes the stage with “Hands-on: Here are the most cutting-edge AI tools – by DJ Noize,” we’ll have a brief visit from Gaffa writer Jens Dræby, who created an AI-generated music album in just 4 hours. He’ll talk about this in his presentation “How I made a full album in 4 hours with AI.”
Let’s Talk AI & Music is organized by Koda, Autor, DPA, Musikforlæggerne i Danmark, and DKF in collaboration with Promus & SPOT+.
Det gør han med keynoten AI and music one year later: What happened? And where are we at? Det vil han fortælle om i oplægget How I made a full album in 4 hours with AI.
Let’s Talk AI & Music er tilrettelagt af Koda, Autor, DPA, Musikforlæggerne i Danmark og DKF i samarbejde med Promus & SPOT+
