Carmen Montanez Callan ^(GB)

Carmen Montanez Callan is a UK-based Music Supervisor specialising in film and television since 2014, with over 20 years’ experience placing music to picture across film, TV, advertising, and music video. She works across scripted drama, factual entertainment, feature film, and documentary.
With a background in both film & TV production and the music industry, Carmen brings a strong cross-sector understanding of creative, technical, and commercial processes.
As Head of Department, she leads creative music search across genres and eras, original song commissioning, score supervision, clearance and licensing, budgeting, union liaison, and the development of a project’s musical identity.
She is a Senior Board Member of the UK & European Guild of Music Supervisors, co-founder of its Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and a member of BAFTA.
