Arto Eriksen is the man behind some of Denmark's biggest pop hits in recent years. As a producer and songwriter, he has created hits with artists such as Tobias Rahim, Andreas Odbjerg, Lamin, Drew Sycamore, D1ma, Lord Siva, and ICEKIID. With Yo Johnny, he steps out of the shadows of the studio and onto the stage with his alter ego, Yo Johnny – a musical party starter who blends techno, house, and rave culture with playful self-irony.
Yo Johnny has already made his mark on the club dance floor with tracks like ‘Miami’, ‘Cardio’, and ‘Pengedans’, and with a remix of Gilli’s ‘Baianá’, which has streamed over 2.5 million times on Spotify, he has cemented himself as one of the country's most exciting electronic producers.
Yo Johnny has also turned up the volume on his mixes behind the DJ booth, performing everywhere from the country's clubs to street parties like Distortion and on Tinderbox’s mainstage, Magicbox. He always moves with the beat, bass arm, and body – because whether we like it or not, we all have a Yo Johnny inside us!
