Based in Copenhagen, Phloem is a DJ with a passion for early 2000s dance music as well as fresh sounds and currents of electronic music. Phloem's musical identity weaves together elements of progressive house, percussive techno, swampy psy-trance, and tech-house. With music that invites to enter a vibe and atmosphere, her sets are often flavored with warm basslines and soft vocals, with added euphoric touches and sense of bittersweet nostalgia.
Phloem has spent the past several years performing on stages at venues and festivals across Copenhagen and beyond, including Roskilde Festival, Kiosk Radio in Brussels, as well as local venues like Den Anden Side, Hangaren and more.
