Can I bring my child to SPOT?

Of course you can –  and admission to the festival area is free for children at the age of 11 or younger if accompanied by an adult (18+)

What if I have a disability and I need a personal assistant with me?

By purchasing a regular ticket and presenting your valid companion card from Danske Handicaporganisationers Brugerservice, disabled individuals can bring a companion to the festival for free. Upon arrival at the festival, show the companion card at the regular ticket exchange, where the companion will receive a wristband corresponding to the purchased ticket—unless otherwise agreed in writing with SPOT Festival before the festival starts. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us at info@spotfestival.dk.

Are there any events on Thursday?

SPOT Festival 2024s main programme takes place on Friday and Saturday,

Where is this year's SPOT located?

In the heart of Aarhus, as always. It will be possible to see concerts at both venues and outdoor stages, exactly as you know SPOT best. The concerts take place at the area around Musikhusparken, Aarhus Congress Center and at the various scenes in Musikhuset. There are also concerts at many of the other Aarhus’ venues and on alternative stages across the city.

You can see the map of the festival site here or in our SPOT-app

How many concerts are held at SPOT 2024?

There will be more than 200 concerts at this year’s SPOT Festival.

What is the capacity for the stages at SPOT?

SPOT Festival is primarily an indoor festival and uses Aarhus’s many venues and culture houses for the concerts. Ranging from 50 to 3,000, the audience capacity of the individual venue varies a lot, and for that reason SPOT cannot guarantee all ticket holders access to all concerts. Show up in good time before the concert/talk/etc.. It makes your chance of getting in a lot better. It is not possible to pre-book for the concerts.

What do I do in case of an emergency?

In case of serious accidents: Call 112.

During the entire festival, the Emergency Services Association’s employees will be ready to help the festival’s guests, musicians and others.

If you yourself are injured or see others who need help, contact the nearest bar, one of the festival’s many volunteers or the staff on the festival’s stages. They help you to contact the Emergency Management Association’s employees.

Can I buy food and drink at the festival?

There will be food stalls with delicious dishes and snacks, as well as bars where you can get your hands on cold drinks, both with and without alcohol.

Our foodtrucks will be located alongside Thomas Jensens Allé next to the stages in Musikhusparken. Here you’ll also find various bars with beer, softdrinks and cocktails of any kind. There’s also a bar located in Ridehuset.

By the two stages in Aarhus Congress Center (Pink Stage and Green Stage), you’ll also find a bar.

Is it possible to pay with cash at the festival site?

It is not possible to pay with cash at SPOT’s areas during the festival. However, you can easily pay with cash at the venues that provide rooms and stages for SPOT.

At the festival site it is possible to pay with following cards and payment options: Dankort, VISA, Mastercard, Union Pay, Diners, Discover, American Express and MobilePay

What do I do if I loose something?

If you have lost clothes, mobile phone, wallet or something else, contact the festival’s accreditation on the balcony in the Aarhus Congress Center. Lost property will be stored here during the festival. After the festival, unclaimed lost property is stored at the festival’s secretariat at Vester Allé 15 – and after a few weeks everything of value is handed over to the police. The rest is taken to the landfill.

You’re also welcome to write us an email at info@spotfestival.dk if you have lost something during the festival.

Alcohol, drugs and moshpits

SPOT and the collaborating venues do not serve alcohol to persons under the age of 18. This applies to everyone without exception: the audience, musicians, delegates and volunteers. If you have consumed more than you can handle, seek out the festival’s security people. Help will be available here.

We do not tolerate the consumption of drugs, nor do we accept the sale of drugs on the festival grounds. If you are caught either consuming or selling drugs, we will cut off your festival bracelet and you will then be escorted away from the site.

Stage diving, crowd surfing, moshing and the like are activities that many people do not want to be a part of involuntarily. It’s dangerous and people can get hurt. Therefore, it is prohibited on all stages. If the guards discover that festival guests are doing this anyway, the person’s wristband will be cut and they will immediately be shown out of the festival site.
