We have officially closed the application round for SPOT 2024, and once again, we are blown away by all the talented artists and bands who have submitted their applications to us. It’s always inspiring to see the great interest and incredible dedication we experience from applicants.
SPOT Festival is both the industry’s meeting place and a celebration of the best new music and the most promising artists from Denmark and the Nordic countries. With a history that now spans almost three decades, SPOT has played a role in and created a tradition of supporting new talent. And the applications and the passion put into them help us maintain this tradition.
“SPOT thanks for the submitted music. We are already looking forward to unfolding SPOT 2024 and experiencing the concerts that each year exceed our high expectations – both in quality and diversity,” says Gunnar K. Madsen, Head of SPOT.
With all this year’s applications in the system, the listening group now faces the exciting but also challenging task of reviewing all the submitted applications.
SPOT Festival 2024 will take place on May 3rd-4th in the heart of Aarhus, and we look forward to seeing music enthusiasts take over the city’s venues and stages. Tickets for SPOT 2024 will go on sale on December 1st at 10:00 AM, where the first names will also be announced.

Vi har nu officielt lukket ansøgningsrunden til SPOT 2024, og igen i år er vi blæst bagover af alle de talentfulde kunstnere og bands, der har sendt deres ansøgninger i vores retning. Det er altid inspirerende at se den store interesse og det utrolige engagement, vi oplever fra ansøgere.
SPOT Festival er både branchens mødested og fejringen af den bedste nye musik og de mest lovende kunstnere fra Danmark og Norden. Med en historie, der efterhånden strækker sig over næsten tre årtier, har SPOT spillet en rolle og skabt en tradition om at støtte nye talenter. Og netop ansøgningerne og den lidenskab, der lægges i dem, er med til at opretholde denne tradition.
“SPOT takker for den indsendte musik. Vi glæder os allerede til at folde SPOT 2024 ud, og til at opleve koncerterne, der hvert år overgår vores store forventninger – både i kvalitet og bredde”, lyder det fra leder af SPOT, Gunnar K. Madsen.
Med alle årets ansøgninger på plads i systemet, står årets lyttegruppe nu over for den spændende, men også udfordrende opgave, at gennemgå alle de indsendte ansøgninger.
SPOT Festival 2024 finder sted 3.-4. maj i hjertet af Aarhus, og vi glæder os til at se musikentusiaster indtage byens spillesteder og scener. Billetter til SPOT 2024 sættes til salg 1. december kl. 10.00, hvor de første navne også vil blive offentliggjort.
