It’s become a vital part of SPOT Festival and our work to provide an opportunity for new and creative collaborations to emerge. One of the new and exciting ones to come out of SPOT 2022 was the magical meeting between the fine folks at Tapetown and the talented students at Roskilde Festival Højskole. Together, they gave the students an opportunity to create a unique and authentic stage at FO-byen, where brilliant acts Sauna Senere and Joe & The Shitboys played in front of both an energetic (and packed) crowd and recording cameras, turning the concerts into the well-known format from the popular Tapetown Sessions.

This year, the students from Roskilde Festival Højskole and Tapetown have teamed up with Frontløberne to co-create a dayparty – and focus will once again be for the students to create a unique setting and venue for two incredibly talented acts from the alternative genres. At SPOT 2023, they’ll be taking over Lydhavnen with Mary Anne’s Polar Rig (SE) and HIRAKI. One thing is for sure, the students will once again come up with something that you’ll have to be a part of.

Not convinced yet? Check out the session with Joe & The Shiboys from SPOT 2022!
