International cultural exchange programs are always navigating a high wire held between political agendas and financial support in a much more acute way than the cultural industry at large with political unrest, ideological shifts and the fragility of local key contacts being just some of the multiple variables that determine the fate of these projects. Which factors are key elements in creating equal access to these programs and how do we push the political agendas in Denmark and collaborating countries to ensure continuity and room to create mutually beneficial programs in a sustainable way?
