With a fragility reminiscent of Lizzie McAlpine and a strength akin to Fiona Apple, Vilma Crow takes the stage with clear intention. Her songs are infused with a sincere and present vulnerability, making her sonic universe both moving and relatable. The music grows out of real-life experiences, gently processed in spaces of reflection, like pages from a diary. In 2024, Vilma Crow performed at Uhørt Festival, where she and her band established themselves as an impressive live act. This was further underscored by a prominent feature on the front page of Weekendavisen’s culture section, where she was described as “Quite Unheard.”
In January 2025, Soundvenue named Vilma Crow as one of their 15 artists to watch—an impressive recognition given that she had not yet released any music at the time. With her debut EP ‘Good Dog for Sale’, Vilma Crow establishes herself as a new and emerging indie hope on the Danish music scene.
