In a distorted clash between over-manipulated instruments ever changing productions and Lauras both intimate and vulnerable voice, Velvy creates an intense and fragile alt-pop universe. Storytellings about adventurous creatures mixed with unruly outbursts of emotion blurs the border between cute- and weirdness.
The sonically and emotionally diverse songs draw lines to electronica, rock and improvised music with a fundament in modern pop aesthetics.
Velvy released the EP “The Room We Lived In” in November 2024 and released their debut album “Tell Me No” in march 2026.
