With their individual paths crossing in Aarhus, True Crime comes together to create a lively and alluring sonic space combining neosoul harmonies and fusion melodies with the feel and groove of instrumental hiphop. The group draws inspiration from artists like Moses Yoofee trio, Kiefer and Yussef Kammal, while also exploring their own voice in the field of modern beatjazz.
The four members, Andreas Skouros (guitar), Casper Schriver (piano & synth), Mads Kjeldgaard (bass) and Carl Lindegård (Drums), met at the Royal Academy of Music and found a community among each other allowing for highly intuitive and playful musical interactions. Their debut album ‘The Evidence’ will be released in 2026.
