Mag Elsker
Mag Elsker (translates to Mag Loves) - and yes, Mag loves. At least, Mag tries to. Deep down Mag loves all and everyone, but this world makes that hard sometimes, especially as a person with a diagnosis, trying the best to act normal and fit in, but ultimately failing again and again. An alien whose home world is on some other planet and whose true form cannot be shared or explained, but in their music, they at least try too; and music is what Mag is really good at. The music is what you humans can easily digest: pop. Danceable beats, fresh hooks and melodies you can hum along to after they're stuck in your head, electrified in the computer machine and with a little spice of hand played instruments. Mag does it all, except for what they don’t want to do. Love
VIDAL VIDAL
VIDAL VIDAL is a self-producing duo specializing in electronic music with vocals, blending experimental sounds with danceable tracks. Originally from Berlin and now based in Aarhus, they create unpolished, underground music that deliberately avoids perfectionism. Their work is unconventional and driven by a desire to inspire people, especially younger audiences to be bold, expressive, and unafraid in the face of creative pressure. Their encounter with electronic music and talking together about insecurities and the pressure they felt in past music projects, they discovered freedom beyond perfection. This transformation is reflected in their music: showing that music is more than calculated planned commerce .
No Boys Club
This project features original theatrical music pieces. We’re an all-female group, so we named ourselves No Boys Club. We’ll be playing original songs about the little things us girls experience in the music scene. Like, most of the time when people guess what instrument you play, they’ll pick stereotypically “feminine” ones - cello, piano ... But when you say you’re a drummer, almost everyone is shocked. And when we go to jam sessions, we hardly ever see other female musicians. It can make us feel a bit lonely sometimes. That’s why we wrote these original pieces. We hope our pieces can bring some new power to play music, and new sounds, and new challenges to play this unconventional set.
