This is a band playing Nordic indie pop with a hint of folk. They’re called Nyskabt. From the beginning, they set themselves a clear ambition: to create Danish-language indie pop that’s tender, emotional, intimate, yet grand in scale — drawing inspiration from artists like Lizzy McAlpine, Blaue Blume, and Ben Howard. And their live show? It should feel like stepping into a wondrous night at the theatre. So they get to work. They write songs on their farm on Funen. They scour Red Cross thrift shops for props. They head to Brabrand to track down old corporate roll-up banners. They paint over them — beautifully. They seek out two theatre directors, Rune D. Grue and Magnus H. Nielsen, and ask: “How do you create something truly magical on stage?” They learn. They experiment. They build their own version of theatrical wonder.

Flot. De finder to teaterinstruktører: Rune D. Grue og Magnus H. Nielsen. Spørger: ”hvordan laver man forunderligt teater?!”. De tager ved lære. Prøver at lave forunderligt teater. Og nu er de her. Foran dig.
