Even though Lovi Did This songs are portraits of human fears, Lovi herself seems totally fearless in her ambition to simultaneously write great songs and do it with maximum playfulness and disrespect for genres, mainstream aesthetics and professionalism.
On stage she basically tries to be out of control, changing arrangements, musicians and swapping instruments to get to that knife’s edge where the magic happens. She takes the stage like she was preparing for a slow motion boxing fight. Lovi Did This music sounds retro-futuristic, often with her signature Omnichords and organic rhythmic sounds of drum loops, banjo or bass clarinet, and her dry emotional vocals. The spring-summer of 2026 Lovi Did This is releasing a colourful EP in Swedish with an upbeat indie vibe and her special combination of catchy pop and avant garde. She will also play a number of shows and festivals in the Nordic region with a special aim of growing her audience in Denmark and the Nordic countries.
