Frankly My Dear is one of the world’s first 100% artist-driven sync platforms and composer networks, founded by Steffen Breum and Thomas Bertelsen – both experienced composers and producers with deep roots in both the music and film industries.
Frankly (My Dear) reimagines how music is used in film, TV, and advertising. With a focus on originality and artistic authenticity, the platform provides global exposure to music that dares to stand out – with a special place for unconventional and underrepresented voices.
The platform represents a strong network of over 200 artists: from established film composers, in-your-face pop artists and indie bands to hip-hop labels, queers, and punk activists – all with edge, intensity, and something real to say.
Thomas Bertelsen, DJ, is known as one half of the electronica duo Lulu Rouge and for his solo project Tom And His Computer. For years, he’s moved seamlessly between club culture and music for the screen.
Steffen Breum is a renowned music producer and film composer who, for more than 25 years, has made a significant mark on both the Danish music and film industries. With his broad experience, he is a key figure actively shaping the Danish cultural scene through innovative projects, concert events, and artistic collaborations.
At SPOT, they’ll share their passion for music through a sharply curated, eclectic DJ set featuring their own edits and versions of cult classics and hidden gems.
