Elias Boussnina has been an unpredictable and unique voice in Danish music ever since he achieved cult status in Danish hip-hop in the mid-2010s as the ironic Atlanta-style rapper under the alias Yung Coke. He made his debut under his own name in 2019 and cemented his talent with a deeply personal—and later widely streamed—catalogue of songs, while the press dubbed him “the Crown Prince of Danish R&B.”
In 2021, the “addiction album” 'Intervention' became a preliminary peak, followed by four years of musical silence—a self-imposed gap in Elias Boussnina’s CV.
In 2025, Elias Boussnina returned to the Danish music scene, where, for the first time since breaking through on SoundCloud as Yung Coke, he once again sings in Danish. According to him, this has been an important step in the process of reaching fundamental human emotions within a lyrical universe that, despite a clear intention, is anything but self-important.
Elias Boussnina has already announced that more new music is on the way in 2026.
