Do you want hands-on experience with festival communication and to help create the framework for SPOT Festival and the SPOT+ conference in spring 2027? Then you’ve landed on the right internship posting. As an intern at SPOT, you’ll become part of a small, dedicated team where you can get up close to how a festival and conference are built from the ground up – and how it’s all communicated to both audience and industry.
What does the internship involve?
You’ll primarily be working with communication, graphic work and practical tasks leading up to the festival and conference in May. Among other things, you’ll help produce content for the website, newsletters and social media, and create graphic material for the festival and conference. The closer we get to the event, the more practical tasks and coordination come into play, and in a small organization with a big program and little time, there’s always something that needs to be sorted, printed, sent or cleaned up, so you’ll be helping out with that too.
We imagine that you:
- Are curious about the music and culture industry, and want to learn how a festival and conference fit together
- Are independent and happy to work on your own with your tasks (without being left to fend for yourself)
- Enjoy the many facets of communication (in writing, you must be able to work in both Danish and English)
- See the value in an internship that offers both exciting communication tasks and practical bread-and-butter work
Practical information about the internship
- Duration: February to mid-May, with room for flexibility
- Location: Our office in Aarhus
- Terms: The internship is unpaid
- Education: Doesn’t matter, as long as the match is right
- We offer: A creative workplace with real responsibility, close sparring from a team that has your back, insight into the planning of a showcase festival and industry conference, and a way to build a network in the music and culture industry
Have we caught your interest?
Send a short application and your CV to mille@spotfestival.dk by November 3rd. Tell us why you think you and SPOT could be a good match, things we should know about you and your skills, or what you hope to get out of the experience – you’re also welcome to have expectations of us.
If you have questions about the internship, feel free to write to Communications Manager Mille Raaby Jensen at mille@spotfestival.dk
- Sted: Vores kontor i Aarhus
