shinyhunt is a Copenhagen indie band that, inspired by 90s and 00s alternative rock, writes big songs from a small apartment; packed with shoegaze, fuzz, dusty grunge riffs and melodious pop references.
The band released the album sea salt ice cream in late 2024 where ”city of no one” in particular has stood out with thousands of streams and several radio plays. In December 2025, the band was named ”New Name of the Week” by the music magazine GAFFA, and in January this year, shinyhunt was among VEGA's Selected.
With their two latest singles ”when my eyes lose you, you occupy my thoughts” and ”shakebrain” of their upcomming album ”nosophobia”, shinyhunt is making a mark on the Danish music scene as a band with an inherent sensitivity in a sound universe with big arm movements and international potential.
The band consists of Signe Christoffersen on vocals, Frederik Winther Barkholt on guitar, Mads Refshauge Kjær on bass, and Mads Elsig Pedersen on drums.
