Olivia Aia creates Danish-language soul/pop in a warm, dreamy, and bouncy universe, where heavy bass and synth elements blend into organic harmonies. It sounds as if Michael Jackson and Solange had teamed up to make a record in Danish.
Through her playful and melodic vocals, Olivia Aia is disarmingly honest in relatable lyrics about deep heartbreak and life’s major ups and downs - both in her own productions and in collaborations with producers such as Lasse Joen Sørensen, Elias Anguyo, and Simon Dyrberg von Spreckelsen.
In recent years, she has performed at Musik i Lejet, UHØRT, and Byhaven, held a session in NYC with the world-renowned producer Robin Hannibal, known for his work with artists like Kendrick Lamar and Drake - and in February she released the radio single ‘Sluppet Dig’.
“These kinds of songs are so convincing in their energy that it almost feels like being swallowed by the track […] a Danish artist you really should keep an eye on,” says radiohost Marie Hobitz about the single on Crush on P3.
At SPOT Festival 2026, Olivia Aia will present brand-new music for the first time with a full band in a live setup featuring three backing vocalists, guitar, and drums & pads.
