The duo Ida&Astrid demonstrates that the piano is not only a solo instrument, and that two people at the same piano can double the energy and artistic expression. They approach music with sincerity as well as a great sense of humor. Their performances are intimate and entertaining, and challenging at the same time formal conventions of the classical concert.
The great joy they get from playing together is something they love to share with their audience. Ida&Astrid consists of Ida Marie Fischer and Astrid Golovanova Hjortkjær, both students at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus.
