SPOT Festival 2026 has added 13 new names from Denmark and the Nordic region, spanning indie, pop, electronic music, and hardcore. Once again, the festival will serve as a gathering point for rising stars, established talents, and experimental sound worlds, offering audiences a wide spectrum of musical expressions across genres.
Among the new additions is Norwegian singer-songwriter Aiba, who has just released his debut album ‘AIDA’, a personal and emotive project inspired by his daughter. His music moves from reflections on life and love to the responsibilities of fatherhood, all wrapped in catchy melodies and Nordic pop sounds. Mid-Jutland band Downtown July follows up their successful journey with their debut album Kravler før vi går, where poetry and pumping grooves meet in a vibrant live show. KOPS returns with a combination of DJing and live performance, delivering an intense electronic pop experience full of energy and dancefloor pulse. Swedish artist Raghd has made her mark with the single ‘Touch Me Right’ and the EP ‘Significant Value’, blending R&B, rap, and pop with uncompromising edge and sharp lyricism.
Danish artist Rosa creates a colorful universe between hip-hop, soul, and pop with her distinctive vocals and recent singles such as ‘Skyklapper’ and ‘Fuck om de kan li os’. Schæfer, the duo Anna Skov and Emil Mors, deliver jazzy and playful pop with attitude, particularly strong on stage. Selina Gin returns to SPOT with her latest album ‘I Memorize Your Face, ‘Cause it Changes all the Time’, combining indie pop and introspection in a playful and sensitive expression. Copenhagen-based shinyhunt continues to make waves with shoegaze- and grunge-inspired pop tracks from the upcoming album ‘nosophobia’, while hardcore band SYL brings raw energy and intensity best experienced live. The trio AEGTESKAB fuses blues, jazz, and rock in intimate, intense live performances, where presence and musical joy create strong connections with the audience. Vilma Crow explores infatuation and heartbreak through raw and heartfelt DIY indie pop/rock. With catchy guitar riffs and lyrics that can be sung at the top of one’s lungs, she conveys the many facets of love and self-image.
The festival also highlights Nordic and Arctic talent through its collaboration with the Aalborg-based organization KORMA, presenting the Greenlandic artists Ivaana and VARNA GL. With the EPs ‘Jamaica’ and ‘Tunguusaq’, Ivaana has established herself as a distinctive voice in electronic pop, creating atmospheric and minimalist soundscapes where her introspective lyrics shape an intimate and captivating live experience. In addition to today’s sparkling new additions, Promus, FYN Live, Aarhus Volume, EXCITE, Westside Music Sweden, HeadQuarters, and SOM have contributed to a lineup of strong artists for this year’s festival poster. Audiences can look forward to everything from intimate storytelling to explosive stage power — with new rising stars side by side with fresh material from established acts.

Festivalen sætter også spot på nordisk og arktisk talent gennem samarbejdet med aalborgensiske KORMA, som præsenterer de grønlandske artister Ivaana og VARNA GL. Ivaana har med EP’erne ‘Jamaica’ og ‘Tunguusaq’ etableret sig som en markant stemme med elektronisk pop og atmosfæriske, minimalistiske lydlandskaber, hvor hendes introspektive tekster skaber en intim og fængslende liveoplevelse. VARNA GL aka. Varna Marianne Nielsen er en grønlandsk tværfaglig kunstner, og hendes livsværk handler om bevaring af traditionel grønlandsk trommedans. Dette implementerer hun også i sin moderne elektroniske musik og via film.
Foruden de nye funklende tilføjelser i dag, har Promus, FYN Live, Aarhus Volume, EXCITE, Westside Music Sweden, HeadQuarters og SOM, også bidraget til en perlerække af stærke artister til årets plakat. Publikum kan altså glæde sig til at opleve alt fra intime fortællinger til eksplosiv scenekraft – og nye stjerneskud side om side med etablerede kræfters nye materiale.
