Clothing Club is a fresh addition to the modern Danish jazz scene, inducing head nods, smiles, and a sense of presence in the moment. It's vibrant instrumental hip-hop/jazz infused with a dash of house, combining the Aarhus jazz vibe with the dance floor energy of Berlin clubs. When the three musicians come together, the listener is invited into a lively and playful space where joy and good vibes reside. Clothing Club has a mission to make the listener and audience feel that even in the darkest times, we can put on a mental summer shirt and immerse ourselves in unity, joy, and light. It's a desire to "dress the listener better in the mental wardrobe" and provide space for them to express themselves freely. The group draws inspiration from artists like Athletic Progression, Domi and JD Beck, Yussuf Dayes, among others, while also navigating freely within their own universe and the broad framework set by modern jazz in recent years.
